My Approach
I believe everybody (and every body) can cultivate a way to voice that is un-stuck, authentic, and comfortable. Only then can it bring joy. In my work with both singers and speakers, I combine voice science and vocal pedagogy with over ten years of professional performance experience and teaching voice in higher education. I believe in honoring learning styles, using our bodies as guides toward knowledge, setting goals and taking values based action to attain them. I can’t wait to help you find the voice you’ve always wanted.
Who is Amy?
A vocologist, professional musician, private and collegiate voice coach. After thousands of hours of teaching, hundreds of students, over 50 operatic roles and symphonic performances, over ten years of performance and coaching work, two degrees and a certificate later, Vocology Works LLC was born.
Not a singer?
No problem! I teach the same skills of balance, efficiency and clarity to clients who wish to enhance their speaking voices. Podcasters, corporate executives, politicians, teachers, coaches and clergy are just some of the folks who benefit from this training. Your voice is your brand and I believe it can reflect the person you want it to.
